St. Michael’s House marked World Menopause Day 2026 by bringing adults attending its services and staff together for a special Menopause Information Morning at Ballymun HQ.

Organised by the SMH Menopause Working Group, the event provided a welcoming and inclusive space to learn more about menopause and women’s health, hear from expert speakers, ask questions and share experiences.

The guest speakers Dr Colette Barry, Loretta Dignam and Carol Scott, shared their knowledge and expertise with all attendees, providing valuable information, practical advice and greater awareness of the supports available to help them make informed choices about their health and wellbring.

We would like to congratulate Dr Amy Johnson and Verma Lucas, from the Menopause Working Group for their valuable contributions in making the event such a success.

As a rights-based organisation, St. Michael’s House is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to information that supports their health, wellbeing and ability to make informed choices about their lives. Events such as this play an important role in raising awareness, encouraging open conversations and promoting greater understanding of women’s health.

The Foundation would like to particularly like to acknowledge and thank Irish Life Health, Astellas Pharma Co. Ltd. (Ireland), Donna Reilly People & Wellness, Juspy Original and Clarins Ireland, who helped fund the event and donated products to create some amazing goody bags.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and well done to everyone contributed and helped make this a meaningful and informative event.
