An incredible €4,300 raised for St. Michael’s House Care Home in Rathfarnham!

A massive well done and heartfelt thank you to Dave, from Southside Fitness, and to all all the amazing donors, runners, supporters and cheerleaders who came together to make this challenge such a fantastic success.

The numbers behind this incredible achievement speak for themselves:

🏃 50km solo run

⛰️ 1,450m of elevation

🤝 140km covered by 13 support runners

⏱️ 5 hours and 57 minutes

🥤 Four drink stops and one footwear change at 33km — dedication at its finest!

A huge SHOUT OUT to their phenomenal runners: Joan, Jacinta, Catherine, Mary, Rebecca L., Jordan, Olga, Jackie, Mick, Rose Anne, DSD Runner Emma, IMRA Runner Mike, Dillon, Lorraine, Remi, David, Ronan — and the amazing kids who managed a couple of loops between them! And of course, to their incredible support crew: Karen and the kids, Joanne and the kids, IMRA Runner Seamus, friend Dermot, DSD runners Sallie and Paul with the cowbell, along with all the walkers who donated, encouraged and cheered them on throughout the challenge. Every kilometre, every donation, every cheer and every bit of support helped make this possible. What an amazing example of community spirit, determination and generosity!

Their donation page remains open until December, so there is still time to contribute and help them reach even greater heights. Pop over to their page to see more footage from the day or to make a donation! Thank you all for being part of something truly special.

Together, you are making a real difference to the lives of the people supported by St. Michael’s House.
