An enormous thank you to Colm Gahan, and his son Noah, for their incredible fundraising efforts and for making such a meaningful difference to the school community. On 18th October, Colm took on the Altra Yorkshire Marathon, running with a very special purpose close to his heart — supporting Noah’s school, St. Michael’s House Special National School in Ballymun.

As a proud dad, Colm has seen first-hand the incredible care, support and opportunities the school provides to Noah and so many other children. His determination to give something back has resulted in an amazing €6,000 raised!

This fantastic contribution will help the school purchase iPads, dedicated communication apps and devices to support children who use picture-based and alternative communication systems. These invaluable tools help children express their needs, make choices, connect with others and, most importantly, have their voices heard.Colm, your dedication, generosity and determination are truly inspiring. And Noah, you are an absolute superstar!

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, shared the fundraiser and cheered Colm on. Every contribution has helped make this possible.€6,000. One incredible marathon. A lasting impact on so many young lives. From all of us at St. Michael’s House Foundation — thank you!
